Important Updates

From time to time, there are things that happen beyond the status of a post, like new directions to one of the connectors, or updated information about another part of our program. You can always check back here to make sure that you have all of the latest updates to keep your Get Outdoors experiences great!

You also might want to check the Get Outdoors Lebanon! Facebook page for comments, tips, and insider advice from many of our participants. It's a great place to share stories and photos about your adventures!

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area (Nature)

Due to recent storms, there is a section of the trail for this hike that needed to be altered. The route has been changed as follows:

  1. From the parking area, walk away from the nature center and locate the trail marked Conservation Trail at the base of the hill.
  2. Follow the Conservation Trail uphill and away from the nature center. Instead of turning left at the T, turn right and follow the trail uphill by the field.
  3. Continue straight at the top of the hill and follow the signs for Conservation Trail. (This puts you on the same trail where you will find the post.)
  4. You can locate the post in the woods as you make your way downhill.
  5. To return to your vehicle, continue in your current direction.
  6. Continue following Conservation Trail marked with green blazes and arrive back at the parking area.
